Vetus Waterlocks LP 50S / LP 60 / LP 75 / LP 90 - for exhaust hose with internal diameters of 51 mm, 60 mm, 76 mm, or 90 mm I.D. The smaller model L50R, is to be used when exhaust line is relatively short, whereas the larger model LP50S comes into proper use with a long length of exhaust hose. These waterlocks are provided with a drain plug.
- Vetus synthetic waterlocks should be installed with an Exhaust Temperature Alarm to safeguard against cooling water failure.
- Larger capacity waterlock versions are available for longer exhaust hose runs. See Vetus Waterlock Type LSS.
- Vetus also recommends installing a Gooseneck and Muffler for optimum quiet engine performance and safeguard against water intrusion/ siphoning.
- Vetus exhaust hose is best used with Vetus waterlocks to assure proper sizing between port diameters and hose ID.
